Biography

BFJ Benjamin F. Jones began drawing at an early age. An informal high school art class showed him that he had what others had been saying for years: talent. Benjamin is primarily a self taught artist with only a few scattered art classes along the way. His college years were spent learning to become a software engineer; an education from which he currently makes a living. A Christian and a family man, Benjamin spends the majority of his time away from software with his family. But, when the house is quiet the art supplies come out, the home office becomes an art studio and the creation begins often into the hours of the early morning.

From early beginings with simple pencil drawings to fully shaded photorealistic portraits to full color landscape paintings Benjamin has evolved into an accomplished artist with several sales to his name. His true loves are graphite portrait drawings and acrylic landscape paintings. Benjamin hopes to one day begin to pass what he has learned on to others who desire to explore their own artistic talents.
